Mission Green Punjab

Objectives

To make Mission Green Punjab a movement of common man.
To encourage & motivate individuals and their families to plant & nurture at least one tree per member in the family / household.
To ensure the proper protection & nurturing of all planted trees.
To Educate & engage communities to understand the importance of trees.
To raise the awareness about environmental challenges & promote sustainable practices to safeguard trees.
To emphasize not only on the act of tree plantation but also the crucial aspect of their proper nurturing.
To enhance the quality of both rural & urban environments by strategically planting & nurturing trees in human habitats and open spaces.
Promote soil conservation by fostering the growth of more trees to render the land evergreen.
To establish collaborations with the Government, NGOs, Industries, Educational Institutions, Social Workersand Environmentalists to engage them actively in various capacities.
To foster collaboration among like-minded stakeholders, including government agencies, industries, non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and local communities to pool in the resources & expertise for maximizing the impact of tree plantation.
To implement a solution for the primary cause of plants/treesdamage, the mission will encourage the Society to provide a sustainable solution for stray animals.
